Software Sales Executive
Scottsdale, AZ
Base up to $50K plus commission
Responsibilities:
-Hunt for and prospect for new business in a geographical area. This includes generating one’s own book of business and to prospect for organizations who have a need for business continuity services within their enterprise.
-Manage the cultivation, execution and delivery of Software solutions.
-Demonstrated ability to quickly master and sell Software solutions.
-Build a pipeline of valid sales opportunities within assigned group of accounts.
-Meet/Exceed all assigned sales goals including quota performance and creation of new qualified opportunities.
-Maintain account coverage on a daily/monthly/quarterly basis.
-Manage the communication and internal coordination of sales support, operations, consulting, implementation, etc. to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Develop a Territory Management Strategic Plan.
-Minimal Travel.
Qualifications:
-College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
-Prior software sale experience, cold calling and IT sales experience.
-Minimum 2 years successful sales experience required; previous experience in hardware/software, and/or solution sales a +.
-New business hunter mentality.
-Proven ability and experience motivating key Buying Influences.
-Proven ability to listen, extrapolate information and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to meet customer/prospect needs.
-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of an organization.
-Able to ascertain critical client business issues and match needs with available solutions.
-Able to develop and maintain strong relationships throughout life cycle.
-Experienced in managing internal resources necessary to support complex customer/prospect needs, etc. arising during sales process (Sales Support, Operations, Legal, Executive Team, etc.).
-Successful track record penetrating accounts and selling after the first sale.
-Basic knowledge of business administration and the financial decision process.
-Must be able to make initial “cold” contact phone calls.
-Ability to thrive in high-pressure, quota-driven sales environment.
-Strong Computer keyboarding skills and the ability to manage high levels of internal/external, in/out bound e-mail correspondence.
-Must have working knowledge of PC tools such as MS Windows, MS Office. Experienced in Excel, MSWord, and databases will be required to generate reports, correspondence, and research, records updates and lead generation documentation.
- “Creditworthiness” and ability to use a personal credit card for all reimbursable expenses is required.
